Formas que comunican una idea, la planificación de un producto como un todo es un medio para transmitir un pensamiento. Se combinan la creatividad con la funcionalidad en el proceso de diseño, donde la investigación y construcción prueban las hipótesis. Los proyectos utilizan conceptos como forma de expresión artística integrados a la función en el diseño. La propuesta final se orienta a piezas muebles, escultóricas, que juegan e invitan al usuario a interactuar con lo que los rodea.
Forms that communicate an idea, the planning of a product as a whole is a means of conveying a thought. Creativity is combined with functionality in the design process, where research and construction test hypotheses. The projects use concepts as a form of artistic expression integrated to the function in the design. The final proposal is oriented towards furniture and sculpture pieces that play and invite the user to interact with their surroundings.

ANTENA

El punto, la línea, el plano, la textura y el color son los elementos esenciales para representar las formas, componentes básicos de la expresión plástica.
Antena es la concreción de estos conceptos, de la línea y el punto en el espacio tridimensional, y la construcción con éstos mínimos elementos formales, de un objeto con función específica, la de colgar.
El concepto de ANTENA surge de la necesidad de la utilización de sobrantes y descartes materiales de producción. Es el diseño de una síntesis morfológica de un pequeño objeto lúdico-funcional, que pueda variar, cambiar y combinarse. Se organiza con 4 piezas independientes que se encastran y vinculan fácilmente entre sí con pernos imantados, combinando la madera y el metal.
Esto permite el juego de intrecambio de partes y colores entre dos o más Antenas. Utilizados por separado o combinándolos, se pueden producir diferentes sensaciones visuales.

Antena

The point, the line, the plane, the texture and the color are the essential elements to represent the forms, basic components of plastic expression. Antena is the concretion of these concepts, of the line and the point in three-dimensional space, and the construction with these minimum formal elements, of an object with a specific function, that of hanging. The concept of ANTENA arises from the need to use leftovers and material discards from production. It is the design of a morphological synthesis of a small playful-functional object, which can vary, change and merge. It is organized with 4 independent pieces that fit together and are easily linked with magnetized pins, combining wood and metal. This allows the game of exchange of parts and colors between two or more Antenas. Used separately or in combination, different visual sensations can be produced.

HACHE

La Silla Hache, metálica y desarmable, sintética en forma y tecnología, expresa dinamismo y versatilidad. Adaptable a diferentes espacios contemporáneos y configurable para el usuario en forma y color.
Se organiza con 5 elementos, 3 cuerpos iguales (mallas) que conforman asiento y respaldo, y 2 elementos filares que constituyen sus patas, piezas que encastradas entre sí componen el sistema.
Las mallas pueden combinarse de diferentes formas, con distintas orientaciones y colores, permitiendo el intercambio entre sillas.
El método de ensamble es por medio de un encastre con un pequeño tornillo, que constituye la fijación de su estructura. Compacta para su traslado en un reducido packaging, se desarrolla completamente con tecnología local.

The Hache Chair, metal and collapsible, synthetic in shape and technology, expresses dynamism and versatility.
Adaptable to different contemporary spaces and configurable for the user in shape and colour.
It is organized with 5 elements, 3 equal bodies (mesh) that make up the seat and back, and 2 wire elements that make up its legs, pieces that fit together make up the system.
The meshes can be combined in different shapes, with different orientations and colors, allowing the exchange between chairs.
The assembly method is by means of a socket with a small screw, which constitutes the fixing of its structure. Compact for transportation in a reduced packaging, it is completely developed with local technology.

Se propone el diseño de esta silla en un contexto cambiante, con el objetivo de la personalización y adaptación del producto a diferentes situaciones. Producida con un mono-material, el metal, el proyecto de la silla Hache parte de la búsqueda de integración morfológica – constructiva.

“El circulo es una figura esencialmente inestable, dinámica: del círculo nace todo el engranaje, todas las búsquedas innecesarias de movimiento perpetuo”- Bruno Munari.
Forma. Materia. Ritmo.
La busqueda del movimiento con el círculo y la línea fue la definición para la concepción de Satélites. El despliegue de las partes permite el cambio para su transformación en combinación y forma. Grupo de tres piezas, mesas, de las cuales la más pequeña actúa de banco. Construídas con cilíndros de placa fenólica con laminado plástico y patas metálicas, con refuerzos que se encastran a través de pernos imantados. Esto ofrece distintas posibilidades para apoyar y colgar, con una estructura diseñada para el simple montaje.

“The circle is an essentially unstable, dynamic figure: from the circle all gear is born, all the unnecessary searches for perpetual motion”- Bruno Munari.
Form. Matter. Swing.
The search for movement with the circle and the line was the definition for the conception of Satelites. The unfolding of the parts allows change for their transformation in combination and form. Group of three pieces, tables, of which the smallest acts as a stool. Constructed with plywood cylinders with laminate plastic and metal legs, with reinforcements that fit through magnetized bolts. This offers different possibilities to support and hang, with a structure designed for simple assembly.

Orden modular que ofrece libertad y practicidad al usuario. Este producto parte del juego, lo que puede adaptarse a cada situación espacial y personal. Lo lúdico, escultórico fue premisa para el diseño y desarrollo de la biblioteca. Es un sistema abierto que permite armar libres e infinitas configuraciones, se estructura con 3 elementos, columnas con piezas terminales y estantes, vinculados con tornillos de madera.
Las columnas torneadas de madera dura, se vinculan a las piezas terminales, que funcionan como cierre, fijación y encastre, permiten a su vez alojar diferentes elementos. La figura se personaliza de acuerdo a la disposición de sus partes. Tiene la posibilidad de crecer agregando kits. Cada kit está compuesto por 8 estantes, 24 columnas, 24 terminales y 36 pernos de encastre.
Se juega con la expresión propia material y la tecnología, madera maciza torneada para columnas y terminales, estantes de placa fenólica con laminado plástico o mdf laqueado. Terminación artesanal.
La Biblioteca Latorna participó en varias ferias, entre ellas la Feria del Mueble de Milán en el año 2016 en el stand de Argentina, en High Design en Sao Paulo en 2018 y MADE (Mercado Arte Design), Sao Paulo, Brasil en el año 2019.

Modular order that offers freedom and practicality to the user. This product part of the game, which can be adapted to each spatial and personal situation. The playful, sculptural was a premise for the design and development of the bookcase. It is an open system that allows free assembly and infinite configurations, it is structured with 3 elements, columns with end pieces and shelves, linked with wood screws.
The turned hardwood columns are linked to the terminal pieces, which function as closure, fixing and fitting, allow in turn to accommodate different elements. The figure is customized according to the arrangement of his parts. It has the possibility to grow by adding kits. Each kit is made up of 8 shelves, 24 columns, 24 terminals and 36 threaded bolts.
It plays with its own material expression and technology, turned solid wood for columns and terminals, plywood shelves with plastic laminate or lacquered mdf. Handcraft finished.
The Latorna Bookcase participated in several fairs, including the Milan Furniture Fair in 2016 at the stand from Argentina, in High Design in Sao Paulo in 2018 and MADE (Market Art Design), Sao Paulo, Brazil in the year 2019.

Banco individual con cuerpo en madera y metal. Conformado por tres partes que se encastran para armar y se apilan al desarmarse, ocupando poco lugar para el guardado y traslado. Las piezas de madera están fabricadas con placa compensada de pino que se vinculan para tornear. El cono se desarrolló en hierro en los primeros bancos, y en el proceso de producción se definió en aluminio por su peso. La terminación se la da el color en el metal incorporado a la fuerte textura de las capas en la madera. Elaboración artesanal.
El banco Rolo participó en varias ferias, entre ellas la Feria del Mueble de Milán en el año 2016, en el stand de Argentina.

Individual stool with body in wood and metal. Made up of three parts that fit together to assemble and they stack when disassembled, taking up little space for storage and transfer. The wooden parts are made with compensated pine plate that are linked for turning. The cone developed in iron in the first stools, and in the production process it was defined in aluminum by its weight. The termination is given by the color in the metal incorporated into the strong texture of the layers in the wood. Artisanal elaboration.

El proceso de esta silla fue experimental y su desarrollo demandó cuantiosos prototipos y ajustes de producción. El diseño del casco parte de la placa de madera de pino compensada, dibujando y cortando costillas en el plano que al juntarse componen el conjunto.
Es un sistema de piezas que se vinculan y arman el objeto, tanto en su producción como en su uso. La construcción articula y conecta la artesanía con la tecnología en todo su proceso productivo. Silla desarmable, las patas metálicas simplemente se encastran en el casco, completando la estructura total.

The process of this chair was experimental and its development demanded numerous prototypes and production adjustments. The design of the body starts from the compensated pine wood plate, drawing and cutting ribs on the plane that, when joined, make up the whole.
It is a system of pieces that are linked and put together the object, both in its production and in its use. Construction articulates and connects craftsmanship with technology throughout its production process. Demountable chair, the metal legs are simply embedded in the hull, completing the total structure.

Sillón individual, metálico y desarmable. La estructura cóncava como silueta que contiene al cuerpo y se adapta a su curva, le da el nombre. Arco con malla, transparente, etéreo que parece flotar y liviano cuando se adapta al espacio, fusionándose con el entorno que lo rodea. Los encastres son simples, con pernos imantados que resuelven un rápido armado y comodidad en el traslado. La flexibilidad del almohadón textil proporciona maleabilidad mientras acompaña la organicidad de la forma, desmontable, también reversible y de confección artesanal.

Individual armchair, metallic and disarmable. The concave structure as a silhouette that contains the body and adapts to its curve, gives it its name. Mesh arch, transparent, ethereal that seems to float and light when it adapts to the space, merging with the surrounding environment. The inserts are simple, with magnetized bolts that provide quick assembly and ease of transportation. The flexibility of the textile cushion provides malleability while accompanying the organicity of the shape, removable, also reversible and handcrafted.

Marcela Coppari
Arquitecta egresada de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba en el 2004, Magister en Diseño de Procesos Innovativos, Universidad Católica de Códoba, 2011-, docente universitaria en la carrera de Diseño de Interiores desde el 2005 hasta la acualidad en el área de morfología, equipamiento y arte textil, Universidad Provincial de Córdoba.
Co- creadora de la empresa En Bruto -2009/2022- En ese período desarrolló el diseño de la identidad visual de la marca, el proyecto y construcción del espacio estudio, el diseño de productos, de proceso y producción, se desempeñó como directora artistica de proyecto y comunicadora.
Desde 2009 proyecta piezas únicas, serie limitadas y colecciones. Actualmente diseña con su propia marca, un laboratorio de proyectos y productos.
Por su trabajo profesional ha obtenido premios y distinciones, como el Premio Nacional Basilo Uribe de Diseño. Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes, Bs. As., Argentina. 2014, Sello del Buen Diseño Argentino en todos los productos, Premio Salao Design. Brasil. 2018, y Primer Premio a GALERIA con el Colectivo Design Argentino en Feria MADE (Mercado Arte Design). Sao Paulo. Brasil. 2019. Algunas piezas son parte de la Colección Patrimonial del Diseño Nacional en Fundación IDA. Argentina. 2018. También ha participado en ferias nacionales e internacionales como la Feria del Mueble de Milán y High Design en San Pablo, Brasil, entre otras. El repertorio de trabajo ha sido informado en múltiples publicaciones de todo el mundo.
Architect graduated from the National University of Córdoba in 2004, Master in Design of Innovative Processes, Catholic University of Códoba, 2011; university professor in the Interior Design career from 2005 to the present in the area of morphology, equipment and textile art, Provincial University of Cordoba.
Co-creator of the company En Bruto -2009/2022- In that period she developed the design of the visual identity of the brand, the project and construction of the studio space, the design of products, process and production, she served as artistic director of project and communicator.
Since 2009 she projects unique pieces, limited series and collections. She currently designs with her own brand, a laboratory of projects and products.
In the practice of the integrated and multidisciplinary design approach, functionality and form are criteria of development together with technology, oriented towards the search for innovation, mixing architecture, design and art on all scales. The material and technical exploration of sustainable/recyclable resources in the creation process, they are indispensable as a creative part of the design process.
Always with the aim of building accessible solutions, technology – craftsmanship are responsible for the execution from the beginning of the creative process.
For her professional work, she has obtained awards and distinctions, such as the Basilo Uribe National Design Award, National Academy of Fine Arts, Buenos Aires, Argentina. 2014, Seal of Good Argentine Design in all products, Salao Design Award.
